F2-3 damnper question for DLish

Hey bro, can you post up some details and maybe some pics on how you ghetto mounted that stock gixxer damper on your F2?

the top bracket is two L shaped brackets (one reversed) overlapping at the bottom using both gauge mount holes.
the fork bracket is the same flat steel (1/8"????) with a 90* bend
