Dirtbike Painting

What is the easiest way to do a good paintjob on dirtbike plastics? I don't have a lot of resources but I wanna do a gray black combo on a dirtbike. All plastics will be 1 color... I would like it to have a decent finish....

For what it would cost you could probly just get new colored plastic.

Dont paint it. If you dont plan on ever crashing it might work. The plastic needs to flex when you dump the bike. When it flexes, even the best plastic paint will come off.

I'm just painting it to make it look pretty before I sell it, I could care less if it came of later, heh. And what can I use to paint the frame, I heard people talking about some Kypton Fusion stuff for the frame/plastics.

i used a red scotchbright pad to scuff them up on mine, then clean them up with some thinner and i used a clear stuff called bullfrog. it's a paint adheasive for plastics. before that dries completely you spray your paint on top of it. works great and flexes awsome.

the only time it comes off is when i wreck and get bad road rash on the bike. as for flexing, the paint doesn't chip off.
