i got a prob. i have a 98 cbr f3. first gear pulls like normal, second is like 85 90 percent there, and third is like 40 percent there and it starts bucking forth through sixth is nothing.and if you pull in the clutch anywhere from third on it will die. if you leave the cluth out on third and get off the gas it will backfire. any ideas anyone? thanks guys.

you most likely need a carb clean. has the bike sat?

 

not really but it started after i acidentily put in 87 but i drained the tank ad filled it up with 110 half way through.

 

Your carbs nithe main jet is prob. clogged up with ****....Yea, you guessed it get on your dirty gear and pull'em and clean'em...
