Just a quick tip.....depending on what party of FL you plan on moving to, I would HIGHLY suggest that you wear a helmet. Down by where I live (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area) is considered the "I don't know how to drive" capital of the world!!

But to answer your question, you do have to have $10,000 - 25,000 of life insurance (I could be wrong on the numbers but I think what was stated above sounds right). And you still need some sort of eye protection.

Thank you Princess! I am planning on the same area you live in. I almost ALWAYS wear my helmet, me and my brother were just curious as to the laws.

When are you planning on moving down? I believe everyone was right. There is no helmet law as long as you have >$10,000 medical insurance. I don't know how the cops would tell or not I would also suggest you ALWAYS wear your helmet anyways. Just make it a habit to the point where you feel like you're naked if you don't have it on

hayez, I'm doing just fine...thanks for asking. I still feel a little tightness in my shoulder when I raise it up (if that makes any sense) but I'm fine.

Yeah, if it's just cruising, I will still usually wear my helmet unless I know I won't be acting stupid.

We're looking at possibly June or July Chingygal.

Hayez, I told my bro already, so we will defintely hit you up in advance! Good looking out. You too Princess.

the one thing about the helmet law that everyone forgot ...... YOU HAVE TO BE OVER 21 TO NOT WEAR A HELMET!!!! and in FL you also have to be over 21 to avoid taking the class to get your endorsement! MY wear one all the time, unless you wanna look like an *** or loose your brain!
