Sprockets and speedo
Sprockets and speedo
I'm getting ready to gear my 98 F3, but just curious as to the speedo. A buddy of mine told me that when you gear your bike, in order to keep the same accurate speedo, you'd have to recalibrate your speedo. The same bike I stunt is the same bike I ride to work, so when I'm going by a police (
) I still need my accurate speed.
So, my question, will gearing my bike make my speedo read 150 when I'm doing 90?

This company makes an electronic tool that checks/fixes speedometer error - check it out: http://www.blackrobotics.com/index.htm
