I got it..............
I got the bike today. I went out there and went to see what the condition of the bike really was. Well, it looked alot worse in the photos. I checked the frame for and fractures dents, checked the steering stop, rotors, brakes, oil, and a whole lot of other stuff. I was just running through it. Then I took it for a test ride and beat it up trying to see if it slips in any gear esp. second. Well, I failed. I ran hard in every gear and was totally straight in the steering. You could let go and would just be stable as all hell. So no bent forks or anything crazy. Its awesome. It has been a dreaded 1.5yrs since I last rode my GSXR 1100 until the head was jacked by my mechanic along with my cash. This bike is alot better as the technology isn't the best but its better than the old water cooled Gixxers. I found nothing. Forks seals were clean down to the chain being oiled up. The guy even gave me receipts from the day the bike first sold and alot of maintenance along the way from the 1st and second owners. They actually took care of this bike nicely. Adjusting vales and such along with regular oil changes. It is pretty smooth and is pretty fast. I never expected it to be as fast as it is. I can't imagine what the 03 and 04 Gixxer 1000s are like. CRAZY. I hit the gas hard as hell taking off and it delayed a bit, not sure why, and pulled a wheelie no problemo and I wasn't maxxing it out. I was suprised. It was 12:00am when I did this so I had to leave that part of town fast as I don't need anymore tickets. In the few hours I have ridden tonight I have already put on 115 miles on it. Can't wait for tomorrow. Finally I can start stuntin. I tried to do some stoppies but it F up my knees trying to hold on with em. Maybe I am doin'em wrong. I got it up in the rear about 12in after 3 tries. I need to get the hang of this. Seems to handle pretty nice to. I haven't taken it to the max around curves b/c the dumba$$ put armorall on the tires to make it look spiffy for me when I went to check it out. It has pretty much wore off and have gotten a little squirrely. I think I have gotten a little rusty since I have been out of the game. Racing skills are still there but I have adapted to driving a cage for so d*** long I have become not as quick on the throttle and my reaction time is crap. Give me a few days and I'll be good as new.......I think they replaced the stock cam chain tensioner too am,ong other things b/c I think I have noticed a few APE upgraded parts on it..........I feel like a D*** kid again playing in the streets.....

No its not the 1000. Although I wish. I can't imagine what a 1000 could do. Damn, technology is something else. I have had the old bikes for too damn long. At least this has "some" fairly new technology. It is a 98 GSXR 750. Today I was trying some wheelies on this back road behind some apartments. I am getting the hang of it real fast. Today I rode another 150 miles on her and am loving it. Hell. I think the old truck has finally got thte rest it deserved for a long while. I have not eaten one thing today so I couldn't keep going on the wheelie thing. I got back from the 149 miles trip and rode to the spot and hit the gas the 1st time up to about 5g's let off and then rolled it on and it came up about 2-3 in. I was like come on you F'n *****. Hit the F'n gas. I think I was just so tired from all the running around from the DMV to the insurance and stuff my mind was in it but my body want to sit down and eat something. I have been up since 9:00am and have not eaten or drunken anything and its F'n 8:19pm......Anyways I gas it up to appx 5-6 and came up a little higher but I kept leaning forward form some dumb reason. I wasn't even scared. I said to myself again " Ok lean your *** back and hit the F'n gas puss. " I think I egged my self on to want to go more. I do it and take those rpm's the F up and it came right up to a 2.5 or 3 o'clock for about 10-20 ft and let off so I could do it again. Then I see this guy o the ledge of his apartment on the phone styaring. I got spooked and rode away thinking he was talkin to the cops. Maybe he was enjoying it but not risking it...I am going to try again tomorrow when its cooler and everyone's at work. Even though it may not be as new as some folks out here I know I am not riding around tryig to look good. I am riding it b/c I am trying to max my skills in the handling area as well as try to do a bit of stuntin'......
Oh by the way.....With all my 4-5 (easy+ some) tickets on my record I finally got a decent qoute for insurance. You see everone wanted my driving record and I know if I show them I am screwed and my rates go sky high. Well I went to this guy that rode back in the day ( he said the highest he ever paid for a new bike was $1000) and gave me some bad *** rates. Since AAA doesn't have motorcycle insurance they automatically bypass the system and manually implant their bike stuff into the progressive system. Therefore no credit checks, no ticket checking, or nothing. He gave the qoute, I gave the cash, and printed me out what I needed. For the entire year of liability it is $224. For full coverage it was $1400/yr. Pretty danm good when my record is as jacked up as it is.
