If you have somewhere else to go then I would stick to the guns and take my bike and beat it! I would find somewhere else for me and my new bike to live. Yes, your folks are just looking out for you but damn! A little goes a looooooooooong way from what you are saying. The dog thing would have put me through the roof too! Tell them you love them and you understand their concern but you need to be a man and live your own life. Make your own mistakes, no matter how sevire, and learn from them. Tell them what you said here too, better to live life and die on your feet than on your knees! I can respect that. I cam from a house that sounds very similar. Except for the dog thing..........I just cant get over that. "c'mon boy! do a wheelie!" Whatever!

I know where you're coming from too, I still have yet to tell my parents about my stuning(I'm 21, gonna be 22 this month) As long as I'm in college, they're helping pay for it, I'm keeping that on the DL until I'm totally out on my own. Can't afford it any other way. My mom hates me riding the way it is, not even counting stunting. I lost a friend earlier this summer when a car pulled out infront of him, he was 20. Talk about a mind job for parents, they didn't even know the kid. Hopefully you can work it out, but don't disown your parents, just give them your side of it. Good luck

Don't cave in man, If you don't do what you love in life, then what's it worth living for?

They love you, and you live under their roof... hence their rules. You're 21 years old... it's about that time to move on. Don't you think?
Live on your own w/your steed, and your parents will still love you. Living under their roof, and disobeying their order will make it difficult for them to.

sounds like a broken record to me....

you know exactly what you need to do..... either be on your own or not... you cant have it both ways..

if your parents bank strings are still attached it sounds like you wont be riding....

dude if you live at home, its their rules. My parents won't let me have a bike either but that doesn't mean I'm never gonna own one. Ima just wait till I move out. you should just wait. a bike isn't worth getting between you and your family.

21 is old enough to make your own choices.....BUT if your living w/ them and supported by them in any way they have some say. IMO at 21 you should be out on your own cicumstances permitting.

Yea but if you dont take a stand now, down the road its going to be something else, then some thing else. You dont have to be disrespectful but this might be a good reason to moove out on your own. Just my .02
