so yeah i was riding tonight, rode for only prolly like 10 mins or so, came up to a stoplight at a pretty good clip doing like 60-65, went to grab some brakes, and had nothing, they pulled all the way in to the grip, well i paniced for a brief second then steped on the rear brake, which of course imdiatly locked up on me, and i started just skidding all over the road well somehow managed to bring it to a stop still standing after sliding right on by the two cars in front of me by getting it on to the shoulder. it looks like the line blew out right up by the handle bar cause i had fluid all over my glove and windscreen and some on my tank, just one of those things that caught me extremely off gaurd and goes to show that you need to be on your gaurd at all times i suppose.....


i was just wondering though if anyone else has had this happen, i have a 2002 f4i, so youd think it be pretty reliable, theres enough things to worry bout as it is let alone weather or not by breaks will work yah know, any way just curious, deffinantly need another beer. late - John
