Gsx-r Frame Question!!!!!!!!!!

Gsx-r Frame Question!!!!!!!!!!

on a gsx-r, years 2000-2002, are the frames of a 600 and a 750 the same??? i know the 1000 is different. i allways thought the 600 and 750 were the same but now a buddy is telling me different.....

anyone know this for sure??????

everything is the same except for the front motor mounts..i believe the 750 mounts are 1/4" shorter but it might be the other way around

YES they are definetly different but both can be compatable with a little welding, and relocating. I put a 750 in my 600 frame as Lb3 did, and all it took was relocating the front frame/engine mounts. People used to tell me the same dang thing (that it was the same), but trust me it's not true, the little details matter.

guess i'll tell my buddy no, cuz he wanted me to do a 600 to 750 conversion and i aint looking to do any alluminum welding....

Dude, theyre not the same. Ive worked on both, and these two guys have done 6-7 swaps. Believe us.

Yeah, I have done this mod. They are NOT the same. Get that guy on here. I got pics that prove they dont bolt straight up.

i already tried it!!!!!- the 750 two front engine bolts are 1/4'" higher----dont try it---unless you are a tig welder
