depending on how big the hole is, i have heard of people putting regular ground pepper, that you buy at any grocery store in the radiator and since it doesnt dissolve, it builds up around the hole and stops the leak.

ive seen it work on a truck once before on a long road trip where there was really no other choice. you might try that and see if it works before you spend money on a new one. but you have to use A LOT of it.

My dads car radiator had a leak in it and some guy told him to add an egg and a banana to the radiator and that should plug it ?? My dad was like "what the fugg am I making, a shake?!?!". We did it and it kinda worked, we wound up replacing the radiator.

I am only saying this because of the ground pepper idea, I never heard of that one.

Why is it that the hole is soo small and yet it can't be fixed? Is is because you have to fugg up some of the fins to get to it and weld it? Can it be welded?

Yup, me too. But peper does work, and so does those stop leak bars, but I wouldn't do ether.

The pepper and bars leak do work- but they clog the leak, what else are they clogging? The egg and banana idea- I think that guy was f---ing with you- I can't believe your dad actually put it in the car I bet if you poured cement in there it wouldn't leak, but why would you try it? Just get a used one

the bars leak and pepper are temp fixes. you can probably use some JB weld. it is an epoxy that sets up and turns really hard. i've seen it used to fixed broken cases and it worked great. just don't use it to patch carbs or a gas tank, because gasoline will eat it.
