What to look for when buying a bike

im looking into getting a decent bike, something along the lines of a f4i 900rr 636 ish, iv had dirt bikes for years and understand to check all the areas in which bearings are, sprockets and chains as well. Now on a sports bike what are issues i should look for or areas i should check out in detail. I figured you guys buy sell and build so this would be the best site to ask

Re: What to look for when buying a bike

Well, to start looking at the type of person you are buying it from.. I too started out riding dirt bikes and cross over the street bikes. Check for any leaks, damages and mileage. Also, ask what type of riding they did. I don't want to write a novel, but just check the bike well. 636, F4i parts are not hard to find. 900rr, you may run into problems finding parts. Good luck
