bike stands?

Question bike stands?

i would like to start off by saying it's great to be here. i've been reading these post and gixxer.com post for a good year and i just bought my bike a y/b gixxer 750 02, <---my babz, in march. anyway, that's me. i just wanted to know if anyone has tried out the "bike lift" i see so many time in the back of mag. any infol.

i've got the same bike and i just use a rear stand . you can still move it around and still turn rear tire to lube chain..

would it be better to use two stands for oil changes or the rear is just fine. last time i had to strap my bike to the garage beams cause the oil bucket was too tall to get it under the bike

Search online or in the back of the mags, some places have deals on the front and rear stands together really cheap.

i use an old dish tub for oil chages, plenty of room with my stand: but like jpratt said look around lots of deals out there .

but grump wanted opinions. he already stated that he's seen them in back of magazines.

pitbull has a killer dael right now, i think you can get both front and rear stands for $129.00

i have and use both stands, makes it easier to have both...you ever try to rig something up to get the bike up to take off the front tire??? not fun!!!
