Helmet sizing???

Looking to get a new helmet, icon death from above. Right now I have an HJC and it XL fits good with a little room for movement. Their chart as well as HJC says I should be in a medium to large.mY head is 22.5 inches 57 cm around. I've tried a large Harley D helmet 59 -60 cm and dam tight.
I'm asking cause I'll being buying it on line. Do you find the next size up to fit better than what the chart says should fit?

Re: Helmet sizing???

try it on, everything fits different. I got a Shoei XL and a Icon XL, the Icon is way smaller.

Yah definitely go try it on... if your planning on ordering online, go to a local shop and try it on first, every brand fits/feels different..
