Re: Do Not Run From The Police

ya man. thats fucked.. cops don't give a **** about you. i've been run off the road in NC. i've been arrested and harassed in VA and Md.

**** them. the last time i hesitated, i got taken straight to jail and got 7 ******* tickets for piddly bullshit.. i was like 1 or 2 miles from the WV/MD border and i coulda had that ************ too.. young buck had to prove a point by lockin me up for some bullshit. 1AM with no one out as well.

they fucked me in court tho with a wheelie charge (on my goddamn 50 no less) and a few other times where the *********** had me pinned and i had no where to go.. once was with my chick on the back.. couldn't run then.

lesson learned.. it'll probably cost 2 grand to get my license unfucked at this point.
cost me a job and a shitload of money in the process cuz i could no longer transport myself to work.. getting rides and **** trying to behave.

if i woulda spun a u-ey and rolled on it, got back on the interstate and balled out for just 1 ******* mile, i would have been home free.. the next exit was WV aand nothing but bumfuck backroads with lots of twisties.

4) Make sure to always have an escape route planned, it is best to make a lot of turns to take advantage of bikes' quicker acceleration (especially if ur geared up). Cop cars can do around 150mph, so you dont wanna go in a stratight line for long.
5) The "chase" portion should only last 30 seconds max, if you havent lost the cop within 30 seconds it is can get bad fast and allows time for backup or even the dreaded chopper, LMAO.
6) Do not stop and "hide out", go 10-15 miles away if possible and try not to go home for awhile.
7) If possible, get somewhere safe (indoors) to leave your bike and get a ride. Sometimes I like to leave it for a day or two.
8) Make sure that you have plenty of gas!!!!!!!

All I can think of right now.......
Tim

agreed!

Re: Do Not Run From The Police

Josiah - I actually think its great that in your first post you said you learned to NOT run from the cops. Your right!! You shouldn’t..

To the others in here Why run anyway?

No insurance? well fking get it!!
No registration? well get it!!
Bike stolen? I'd help the cop out here!!
No license? Well get it!! or wait to get it back

Or, ride anyway and feel as if the wolrd owes you and you should be able to run from cops with no worries because your on a bike and you who breaks the law one way will use it to sue in another

If you run thats cool, whatever. Hope you never hurt someone else in the process. But if you get caught or beat down dont cry about it.

How about, either run or dont have a license.... And do not give me some bullshit about dont ride wheelies on the street if you dont want to suffer the consequences.

If I pulled over every time a cop came after me for a ******* wheelie, I would have lost my license 3 years ago and would probably be in jail. I realize I'm breaking the law and if I get caught I will deal with the consequences, but more people have gotten hurt by people driving cars talking on cell phones than by riding wheelies.

Re: Do Not Run From The Police

sho nuff.....i learned the hard way, if you are a nice guy and pull over afetr getting caught riding a wheelie like i did one morning goin to work, then you learn real quick that it is worth running cause the same **** happens if you run and get caught. you get bent over and fucked period. so if you run and hit a dirt trail and sweat it out. you are one up on the cops and less one ticket and tow bill and and and and and.....youi get the point.

i been casing good spots to run to,if you got a plan, it works better if you have a few good escape routes cops can't squeeze cars through in the burbs or city, or dirt trails that end up miles away they'll never know where you are goin.

so **** cops cause all they do is break the law to uphold it...which is a hipocracy if you ask me.

Re: Do Not Run From The Police

If you run too long you end up encountering more cops and having to keep going and going. before it becomes a mess once you get away from the first pig hopefully in a very short period of time you gotta ditch the bike and get away from it and dont come back to it for a bit, atleast hours if possible. call and get a ride from somebody. The pigs are definately on high alert for every bike that drives by looking for the runner. Whats great about a stuntbike you dont care about is you can take them into woods and lay them down in brush and cover them up with branches and tall grass and **** and call for a ride. Then go back late and night and get your baby back. FTP!!!!

Re: Do Not Run From The Police

This is your chance to learn as much as you can about how the legal system REALLY works, but only if you lawyer up and buy your own law books.

Did a fair bit of that once upon a time. Cops loved it, since its their chance to race. Got to where anytime somebody ran cops radioed my name, and I'd get calls warning me when I was sitting at home. I've also talked my way out of a couple of 110 mph tickets, uh, I mean I know someone who did.

Now I have more fun beating them in court. Cops seem pissed that I don't run. Especially pissed when I always demand the judge arrest them for all the crimes proven by their own in-car video. Especially when I get a cop's patrol car taken away because his personnel file said he crashed 4 times in 5 years. Fun to hear a prosecutor phone to admit he's dismissing all charges with costs paid by the govt. Also fun to demand that 1,000s of convictions be reversed for failure to get signed contracts for jurisdiction of magistrate in fed court, as required by their own local rules.

If you're gonna ride a 160 mph vehicle in a police state, you better learn how to win in traffic court.

My goal is to have all highway signs removed, and all speed limits banned, as now done in many towns and cities to improve safety. Even History Channel drives 212 mph on the Autobahn -- and I'm that webmaster. FTP!
