636 issue

636 issue

wats up everyone.. been haven an issue with my 05 636. after a whiel of riding it shuts off an doesint wanna turn back on.. most times if i wait 10min it will start right up like nothing was wrong.. i took it to the dealer an they have no clue wats wrong.. it takes a whie fot it to happen.. like i took a trip to philly witch is an hour away an it did not do it till i was in the city.. shuts off.. i wait a little an it started right up any ideas on wat i can check anyone?? or has anyone ever had this problem.. bike has 4300 miles an its in mint shape o an i just bought it from a local dealer in the summer.. thanks guys

when it shuts off n u try n turn it over, if the starter is spinning n it wont start, its either fuel or spark... carry a can of starting fluid n when it dies give it a shot n see if it fires up for a sec. if so your fuel pump or so on is going bad. if you give it a shot n it still dont fire up than its ignition trouble. start at the coils n work your way back. id bet its a faulty fuel pump but who knows. n if you do go to check your ignition system you might wanna check the compresion in each cylinder while your down in there... low comp can cause problems that would leave you scratchin your head.
