carb problem on 99 600 bandit

carb problem on 99 600 bandit

hey guys my buddy has a 99 suzuki bandit 600 and about every time we ride the bike leaks gas into the air box he thought it was the needle seat so we took it out and it had a few scratchs on it we afro enginered a hone to fit up inside there and got it all smooth and it fixed the problem for now but the throttle response isn't the same any suggestions tog et it back to normal

you cant take that brass fitting out of the carb to replace it its machined inthere the only may to fix it properly is to buy a new carb which is about 400 dollers but i geuss that is what he is going to have to do
