Re: rear brakeare you kidding!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I hardly touch the rear if I'm carving it up.

I use mine all the time as well, especially when i have to reduce speed slowly or ride on slippery surfaces.

Re: rear brakeare you kidding!!!!!!!!!!

depends on how im riding...

when i used to ride streets all the time i would use it when i needed to stop quick

when i was riding twisty's i always used 80/20

Re: rear brakeare you kidding!!!!!!!!!!

Rear brake FTMFW if it's icy or snowy or gravel.

I also used to like to hit the rear brake coming into sharp corners on my old 636 to give me that non slipper clutch feeling of the tire getting squirly.

On my f4i I use the rear every time I stop because that's the only way the brake light lights up.

Re: rear brakeare you kidding!!!!!!!!!!

yeah mostly all rear brake in slippery conditions (water/gravel/ice/whatever)

always rear brake in the lot

but for just slowing down, so I don't murder my rear brake, I ALWAYS use my front brake on the street... Just to save life on my rear pads
