Totaled my R6 & looking for a new bike to buy

I was on my way home at like 12:30 at night when a deer jumped out in front of me as i went around a corner. I hit the deer around 65mph in the flank, ripping it in half. The bike slid a while so did I... after about 5seconds the bike caught on fire. Now what the hell do i do with my burnt up bike i only had liability on it so i am screwed. Is there any way i can part it out or some thing? Are any of the parts good, did it get to hot? I am looking for a new bike and here is what i narrowed it down to
1. 08 Daytona 675
2. 08 R6

What you guys think can i get some info form ppl that own some of these or know a lot about them or have rode them.
Thx

The reason your bike caught fire was because... you were on a R6!

They are known for having weak tanks, and bursting into flames when you wreck them..

I'd suggest you steer CLEAR of a newer yamaha..

And if your looking to get into stunting.. I'd say go honda.. If your looking to just RIDE, get whatever you want

Is this only on the 06 and newer R6?

otherwise I think IŽll be buying a fire-extinguisher

I'm not sure what years, but I know its the newer ones

I guess racers now install 'pads' on the sides of their tanks, so they dont slap the ground
