Re: bike in ur truck

if you get an f150 they have 3 different bed sizes.....5.5, 6.5, 8ft. the 5.5 will not be able to close tailgate, but the 6.5 and 8ft should have no problem. but lowes sells trailers for like 300-5000 bucks get a trailer you can get what ever truck you want

Re: bike in ur truck

smallest truck I could find to haul my bike was a 2005 F250 4x4 crew cab......after the leveling kit, 20's, and tires I could easily load and unload two bikes....with the help of a curb or small hill. hahaha
6" lift and bigger tires soon to come...cause even gettin ur bike out should have a certain level of difficulty!

Re: bike in ur truck

Your going to need atleast a 6 1/2 ft bed, or 6'4" in the newer style rams. Shorter than that and your bed won't close.....

go ahead and buy a spare transmission . Not cuz of the bike, cuz its a FORD (non-diesel). I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier crew cab, and i can fit two bikes with SI cages on em, but i only ever ride with mine anyway....tailgate down

Re: bike in ur truck

Go small like I did. I got a king cab long box (20ft) f-150. I haul 2 bikes with the gate shut and I have a truck tool box in it also. Yeah I can haul 6 pass too.
