Error Codes on New PCIIIr Installation

Error Codes on New PCIIIr Installation
I am getting a 4163 Check Error now that I have installed a PCIIIr from Dynojet on my 01 GSXR1000. I only know that the new unit is not configured for my throttle positioning. Do I need to run the software on it first? This error keeps the bike from even attempting to start. Where is a good place for a description of the error codes?
