Does anyone know anything about all of those internet jobs out there? Work from your home, in your spare time, make six digit income-you've seen them, they're everywhere. There r 2 many of them out there for there not to be something to it. Anyone have any experience, I am a coal miner and I f***ing hate it and don't have any college so my opportunitys r limited

 

EBAY!! I was broke and had a old beat up gsxr so I parted it out and made 3 times what I paid for it..I mainly sell bike parts but now I go to garage sells in the rich areas and buy about $100 worth of **** every weekend and turn that $100 into anywhere from $300-$1,000 just depends what I can find to sell. There is so much money to be made on ebay you just have to get out and work.

What type of **** do you ussually buy at yard sales?

 

I've wondered about this work at home thing myself..... i've been lookin into it a bit but havent found a surefire route to go yet and im not to found of ebay.... but that doesnt sound like a bad idea....

 

The most random **** you can think of.. I bought a old tackle box full of old school fishing lures for $7 and listed each one individually and made right around $250. Then I bought 2 sets of old china dishes that were minty for $15 and when I got done I made selling it all I made around $500. Anything old that you find at a garage sell some dumbass will buy it on ebay for alot more than you pay..I also have a friend that works at a bike shop and we sell all the parts that would otherwise get thrown away when they do a crash repair. I got $135 for a rashed up gsxr upper within 1 day of being listed and tails are gold too people will buy tails up really quick as long as they are not all cracked up. I found gsxr parts sell the best probably because every squid buys a gsxr and than wrecks.

 

Most of thost work at home things are scams. A lot of them go something like this:

They say, "You send me $19.95 and I'll tell you how to make tons of money on the internet."

You send them $19.95.

They send you something that basically says, "Start a website, and tell people that if you send them $19.95, you'll tell them how to make tons of money on the internet."

Think about it... if these people ACTUALLY knew how to make millions on the internet, do you think they would tell you for $19.95? Not likely.

Ebay so far is the best suggestion yet. Buying a bike and parting it out is really not a bad idea at all. I recently built a website for a company that sells salvage parts as well as new bikes, and he told me that if someone needed a part, and the only place he had it was on a new bike, he'd strip it down and sell the parts, and make 3 times as much money as he would if he just sold the bike outright.

You can make money ebaying parts, but it can also take a lot of time/effort.

Ok..my proffesor told me that someone on ebay sold a shoe box and called it a "mirica box" and wrote a stry about it and then out a disclamer at the bottom saying that al sales were final and any activity or inactitvity are not to be blamed on him..etc. So the box sold for like 1500+..

He told me about another that this guy sold a "haunted cane" for 50,000..

People are crazy on ebay..just look at how much profit people are getting off the PS3's cause they cant wait another 3 weeks til the next shipment comes in.

 

all those get rich quick schemes, are exactly that.. the person who thought of it, gets rich quick, and everyone else learns a valid lesson. **** isn't free, you're not going to magically get rich, you decide your own fate and life. If you are looking back and sayin fvck, my life sucks, i never did what i wanted, i don't have the home, or clothes, or vehicles i want. Thats your own fault, never too late to go back to school. Or get smart

if you hate school, maybe try being a mechanic...they may start of paying you kind of low, but after 3 years you'll be making over 20 if you're good and it's always up from there. some guys where my man works make killer money. granter their wives spend it all, but that's their problem

I got the home, bike, and toys I want and got a good paying job, its the work and hours that ****-on dayshift I will go in at 4 a.m. and get home about 5 pm-I work in the coal mines and its dark when I get up, dark where I work, and dark when I get home so I don't see daylight until weekend!!!It would be hard to go back to school, got married, too many bills. Just would like to have job I enjoy

 

i've heard of certified desiel engine techs getting 70,000 to start

 

the word certified clues you in that they went to school

 

he's a diesel engine mechanic...but most of them that make that much went to a tech school for it and have over 3 years experience, but many of the guys he works with that did still lack the ability to do the work without coming up to him asking how to do a job.

He was an aircraft mechanic before that, but they wouldn't count that as experience so he won't get paid decent until his 3 year is up in May....then i think he'll be considered certified or something...but they have 3 levels at Jevic where he works....i forget the first one, the 2nd is "helper", the 3rd is "tech"....you have to be really good to be a "tech" and get paid the big bucks.

and the investment in tools is expensive....he has over 10K in tool boxes, i don't even want to know what he has in invested in the tools!

if you like working with your hands it's fun, and it's not 12 hour days in a mine.
