Riding Tunes

How many of you listen to your ipod/mp3 player while you ride?? And if so how do you do it?? I'm lookin at putting speakers in my helmet but i dont know if its worth it

I have a hemet set up with speakers. The nice part is that you dont have to worry about the earbuds falling out. The problem is that you have to have the volume way up to hear it and if you dont want tunes there is a cord you still have to deal with. I find that I usually dont wear that helmet and wear earbuds with my other helmet most of the time. I never have tunes on in the lot either. It is too distracting for me.

**** a ipod..just buy a regular old mp3 player at walmart..run ya about $60-$70...works the same way

I used to listen Slayer, Exodus, Bathory etc., on my mp3 player when riding..I had to stop. I usually ride like a nut but there is NO controlling yourself listening to that ****. I almost wheelied full speed into the back of a car going 90. On purpose.

Like someone above said, just gotta watch yourself, youll be listening to something mellow, then Slayer, or Hatebreed kicks in, and you wanna go ***** out which can be disasterous.
