You're not really going to see two stroke production street bikes due to the fact that they're dirty as hell and require rebuilds very often. Even though they're very easy to do, most the general buyers wouldn't know how to or want to bother. I believe it was bimota who made a very limited run of some two stroke street bikes, i believe aprilia makes a 250 as well that's street capable. Another downfall of a two stroke production street bike is the fact that they only make their power way up in the rpm band, and have no low end whatsoever and very little midrange, if you've even ridden a two stroke mx bike you'll understand. I could never imagine a two stroke 1000, the 500cc two stroke gp bikes put out 220hp. Which would easily be possible for a street motor double that displacement.
