Thanks Carla, you're a sweetheart.. No, they never found it.. I even had friends drive back out the next morning and there's no sign of it. The ******** made off with over $200.00, my credit cards, my only truck key, and my cell phone. Whomever took it, was answering my phone, must have thought he was funny.. WTF?

cant the cops trace cell phone signals lol, maybe go to a local (big sized) station and see what they do.~

 

if it was just stolen, no. if he was harrasing her they might be able to. if the phone is older than a year or so, it will only give you a location like 10-15 mile radius ( nearest cell tower from callers location ), if its a new phone, and he calls 911 it will give a location, but what are the chances of that

 

well, hollywood sure fooled me.

 

the phone company itself might help, but again, its a cell phone, so the person may not be there in the time it would take you to get where the signal was coming from

 

Thanks guys for your input.. Trust me, I've tried everything I can think of. When I put the phone in my purse, the battery was dying, the TAINT had enough nerve to turn it back on and answer the calls but I'm sure it was for only a short time. Unless he personally had a charger in his car or a charger at home, it would have been impossible for me to trace his location. Plus, I had the phone shut off shortly after he answered it so it's of no use to them anymore. Just makes me mad that some people are that shallow. em!!!

 

Should have left it on for a day or 2 I bet he or she makes some phone calls on it. Make sure you write down what time you lost it then any call made after that time was by Taint Hole!!! So check your bill when it shows up. Chances are you know the person that stold it.
