Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

Its a bullshit case, they just tacked on an extra charge because one of their own ****ed up.

In no way is flyin from a cop a good thing, but a biker runnin on a highway isnt really endangering another persons life going 120...i go 120 in my sedan, safely. That cop ****ed up big time imo, he lost control trying to chase a bike that was running right into a roadblock?

I dont understand why some of you are argueing, the biker is being wrongfully charged. The cop went belong his limits while performing his job, i bet you 100$ he was ordered to leave room and do a loose chase.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

if your commiting a felony and someone gets hurt, theres some sort of name for that, but your totally liable. I forget what its called but its exclusive to a felony.

in other words he's screwed

First, nice avatar, where'd you steal it?

And second...yeah Kelm, you learned from your mistake didn't you. You've already proved yourself dangerous enough when going in a straight line all by yourself, and now you say you'd run from the police... You're the biggest f*cking idiot I've ever seen/heard of. Congrats, douchebag.

And third...this story sucks. It proves the point of why I don't run. I recently got caught doing about 80 mph in a 40. I pulled over and talked myself out of jail, didn't even get a ticket. That's three for three so far, and much better than getting arrested or killed, even if I did have to take the fine.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

running is gay, personally, i hope your friend gets what is coming. all the people that run say that cops shouldnt chase over a certain speed. all your doing is trying to create a situation in which you know you could escape every time. MAN UP, QUIT BEING A BIT(H. the cop was doing his job and the dude was being a fu(kin idiot. i hope he goes to jail for a long time, gets a$$ raped, and then when he does get out of jail, he will think twice about running.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

They arnt creating a plan for escape Bentgixxer, they are merely saying a squad car isnt designed to do what a sportbike does with ease, its a different story when a police chopper is after you, or even a cop biker. They are saying that cop is more likely to kill someone then the biker.

Yes hes dumb for running, but he is certainly being punished for the wrong crime

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

i dont think so. yeah a bike is definately more manueverable than a car, ill give'em that anyday. but, when people say cops need a cut off speed for chases, they are trying to make it to where they haul a$$ and get away every time. if all police depts had a 120mph chase cutoff, how many bikes are gonna run the gears to get away, because then they would know that if the cop stayed with them the cop was ignoring policy. its stupid. he should be in jail.

and let me make this clear. i plan on being a cop one day. and i fully intend to be a " cool cop " i dont plan on giving bikers tickets for stupid minor infractions, but if i ever get behind a biker being totally fuggin retarded, hes gettin a ticket. i wouldnt take any biker to jail for stuntin. thats going overboard. but to get respect you have to give respect.

man that is a lot of hateful stuff to hope on somebody, and nobody said anything about FTP until you did, my friend actually feels bad about the man that injured himself but this was 3 am all on country backroads with no one else on them, and he was not directly chasing him ,he was coming to respond from another area

good point , because the locals always leave a lil room ,but the state troopers can block the whole road and shoot if deemed neccessary

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

how do i have a bad attitude, some kid was running from the law to avoid a ticket, and caused a cop to get hurt. yeah, the cop was prolly going to fast to make a turn, but the whole situation arose from a punk kid runnin from the law. all he wouldve got was a ticket, now hes in jail. he deserves it.

and your opinion on me not being a cool cop, i really dont give a ****.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

if you get lucky the pig will die, then there isnt much of a case. just a casket.

joking

but some people have to run, some dont understand that a lot of us are revoked.
so to add one more felony is no big deal. its not often we get cought.

now if you got a DL you should just stop and take a stupid ticket.

did he have a DL?
if he did he can start crying now.

i wish the best for both of them..**** happens.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

every state is different.
if it was here...he would still be in jail.
but down south things are different.

none of you will know the outcome.
in time we all will...it will be about 6-15 months before we will know.

Re: worst case scenario in a police chase

im not knockin anyone for runnin. i used to do it when i was younger, and never got caught. ive done alot of stupid stuff and was lucky enough to not get caught. i didnt have my motorcycle license when i had my bike. but i also knew at the same time, i was the one screwin up. i just dont understand why people get mad at cops for doing their job. if you want to run, then run. just dont complain if you get caught. thats all im really tryin to say here. not tryin to pick fights, im not one of those computer commandos. i give my and read whats said to me. i respect others opinions, and share mine. thats what this site is about.

hopefully there are no hate threads about me
