I was browsing through GSXR.com a while ago , they had a thread 05 ZX10R Vs GSXR1000, i didnt have a account or i would of posted . They were stating on there 05 stock GSXRs they were putting 6-8 bikes on stock zx10r" imlo , hahahaha , they had me ****ing rolling . The GSXR 1000 is a awesome bikes and the looks for this year for sure go to the gixxer , but two bikes so comparable in performance , how is someone going to claim to smoke a zx10r by 6-8 bikes in stock form, thats how many seconds in a 1/4? 8 bikes equals 2 cars which is 2 second , its my understanding the new zx10r runs low 10"s high 9" , if these guy have high 7 low 8 second stock gsxrs wow i wanna know where they bought theres

one car is one tenth of a second not one second, and 8 bike lengths is more than 3 car lengths.

well the zx10r is better

 

6 bikes is about 40 ft, and at 150 MPH (220 ft per sec) thats about .18 seconds in the 1/4 mile, if thats what you are refering to.

 

a good rider on either bike will smoke an average rider on the other bike by easily 6-8 lengths, but Id take the gix over 10r anyday
