400 ex tick
my 400 ex is ticking. it's an 03 and has maybe 10-12 hours on it. any ideas?

valves are out of whack. Make sure it's got plenty of oil, girl named Daisy had one at Bikeweek, it was tapping a little bit, put some oil in it and it smoothed out, but a valve adjustment woulnd't have been a bad idea.

mine ticks like hell when its warm. granted it has no oil & the valves were never adjusted. oh well. its a honda. it'll keep goin'.
