:YEAH So I finally rode a motorcycle all by myself last night. My husband has a 750 Katana that he rides but he wants to give it to me and buy a bigger one. Well I have been wanting to learn to ride so I got my permit and signed up for the class for the end of July. Well last night he took me to a parking lot and I rode his bike. I learned how to start and stop. I did figure 8's to work on my turning and I learned the proper way to shift. I rode for about an hour and it was so great. I knew I wanted to ride but I wasn't sure if I was able to ride. Well I am off to a great start I stayed up on the bike and didn't make any mistakes but I have a long way to go!

I also rode a little pocket bike this weekend and that was the funniest **** ever. I am 5"10 so I looked so big on this tiny bike. My buddy bill and I were racing and he cut me off and made me wreck but I was alright.

Congrats!!! Just wait, you'll drop it sometime (Everyone does). Being 5'10" gives you a huge advantage over most women riders since you can actually put your feet down.

Yeah I already dropped it once and I wasn't even on the thing. I was on the side of it backing it up and it went past that point of no return and I couldn't hold it up. I layed it down as easily as I could. That was scary enough I don't ever went to wreck. I didn't hurt the bike though so it was all good!

 

Ahh, it happens. I dropped my old ZX-7 the same way!!!! But it weighed like 475 wet, so point of no return is not too far.

Just be careful, the asphault eraser is not forgivning

 

I am not sure how much his bike weighs but I know I only weigh 120 so it is alot more than me. I did everything to hold it up. Yeah one of the guys we ride with wrecked behind us once and almost took me out and he had major road rash. Needless to say now he rides in front of us so we can keep an eye on him.

I had an urge to turn around for some reason and when I did all I seen was this bright yellow bike coming right for me. He already jumped off and the bike was still going. He want to stop quick and hit some stones.

 

It's not funny to hear someone laid one down, but it is funny to hear how it you noticed it.

 

Yeah our buddy was just learning to ride so it scared him really bad. The bad part was it happen so quick that there was nothing I could do. Only I seen it coming for us. My man was looking forward but it fell right before it got to me or it would of takin us out.
