my buddy just baught an older R1 and the mileage reads 13,000 miles. he wants to get a guage cluster that reads lower and he thinks that by just swappin out the guages will do this. i think that seeing it is digital the mileage is probably stored in the computer of the bike and even if he swaps the guages out it will still read 13000 miles. i wanted to know if anyone on here has done this or knows how this will work.
