Looking for a disappearing license plate mount. (Now ya see the tag, now ya don't)
I recently picked up a 2005 Gixxer 1k and I am looking for a disappearing license plate mount.
Can anyone recommend a kit to buy and where to order it?
I found this one online:
http://www.mannsmotorsports.com/fastags/
Anyone have an opinion on this kit?
Thanks for any info.

My buddy has that and he loves it. You can say goodbye to tolls. So after a while if you ride the eway alot it will pay for its self!
Re: Looking for a disappearing license plate mount. (Now ya see the tag, now ya don't)
man toll must be such a pain with a bike, I never went thru any tolls with my bike, but it gotta sucks trying to find quarters in your pocket with your gloves everytimes...

Here are the 3 I have found so far:
http://www.flashalert.com/eclipse.htm
http://blogs.motorbiker.org/blogs.ns...4533MWEDG2.htm
http://www.mannsmotorsports.com/fastags/
Anyone ever personally used any of these?
Any opinions?
Any other options?
What do you all recommend?
Thanks for any info.

Do a bunch of rolling burn outs ,covering it wit rubber.then bend it up. can't read it unless your realy close up.

umm......zip ties.......I don't know anyone that has ever bought a kit, around here we just zip tie our licence plates into the undertail and reach back to flip the plate up or down......

i heard of this guy that hooked up a cable to his choke lever that would just flip the plate up when he pulled the choke.

Or wire it to the horn button...
Stealthplates.com is another one. I've actually seen one of those...they work great. From about 2 inches away with a maglight, you can't read ish.

Thanks for the info.
Still looking for more feedback.
I checked out the site:
http://stealthplates.com/
The demo video doesn't work.
It seems pretty good, but I'd prefer to deal with a U.S. company.
I still might go with them, but I like to find something that has been used and recommended by multiple riders.

let me know when you get it how you like it...I've been thinking about getting one myself. So far I just use some grease and dirt...got pulled over once and the cop asked if I could clean the plate off...just appoligised and told him I never clean it...
