I'm restoring my 2001 R6 so my wife has somehting to ride, but now I have to decide on a new one...I'm stuck between the Gixer750, an R1, or going with either a Honda 929 or 952.

I'm trying to stay away from the Honda because of parts cost and availability, but if I come across a good deal...

I'm not sure if I'll get tired of a 750 and it's power compared to any of the leader class bikes...

I really like the R1's, they're pretty easy to replace parts on and do general maintenance...but I've heard that it's better to stay away from the 1,000 series.

This bike won't be stunted...just going places so I'm not too worried about alot of the things that a stunt bike needs to have...just a nice fast ride to get from point a-b.

Let me know what you think and why I should go with or stay away from a brand or particular year or model.
