looking to buy my first bike....been looking at a bunch and all are to pricey for something im only going to have for 4-5 months because im leaving for Marine boot camp in august..... whats your input on the bike mentioned? the guy wants $2,200 for it....is there anything i should look out for? im going to go check it out this weekend....thanks for you help

 

Those cbr600's make awesome 1st bikes. As long as it's in decent shape and it doesn't have a ton of miles $2,200 isn't a bad price either, in my opinion anyways. I'd most likely buy it if I was in your shoes.

 

Get it! They are great bikes, Ive had an f2 and f3. Obviously try to talk his *** down. But make sure to see if it starts on the first try, inspect brakes, gearing and the clutch, so it dosent slip or pop out of gear.
