Lightbulb RE: Fast blinking blinker??!

The reason you are getting the fast blinking is because you flasher is expecting your new bulbs to draw more current. If you want to keep the bulbs that are in your new turn signals, solder a resistor into the line. This will “trick” the circuit into thinking you are still drawing the same amount of current. Resistors are available at any electronics shop and only cost a few cents. If you don’t have a tool to test resistance you may have to try a couple of different resistors. This will stop the fast blinking problem.

If you are unfamiliar with electronics, another solution is to change the flasher itself. This is quite simple and any standard flasher available at Wal-mart should do the trick. Be sure to bring your old one with you so you can match the connector.

Hope this helps!

resistance

Yes mine do the same thing i have a 01 f4i ....The blinkers blink fast because of the resistence... you computer is picking up the the differnce in current telling you that somthing is not right. but it should not hurt anything
