that's what pisses me off.....money should never be tight for our armed forces....get them the money to get the job done, especially after 9/11......fvcking Clinton and his budget cuts, even with everything that's happened we as a country have not been able to put the same $$ back into the military......most of our **** is outdated and we're suppossed to be the strongest nation in the world......ok I'll stop

we've recieved less funds for more training this year than ever before. they're waiting for people to die because of lack of training before they'll give more money. you know it and so do I

 

yeah I agree with that too, but IMO Clinton started it with the drastic cuts he made in our military and intelligence services, then we got into this war and were under manned and under budgeted for the situation.

 

true, but under the current "leadership" we've gotten the lowest budgets (for the non-war parts of the military) and lowest raises since the clinton era.
it's probably going to continue like this for about 10 or so years.
