So i had the problem for 3 weeks so after the SL wizard (Nags) couldnt help i contacted comcast and he said my version of internet explorer was outdated or along those lines, so he told me to go to control panel, add new/ remove programs, uninstall intenet explorer, and Woola im back on SL. hope this helps

 

Wow.... That makes absolutley no sense, but if it works.. sweet

 

My buddys computer was doing the same a couple of weeks ago. He could get on any page except SL. It turned out to be some spyware crap associated with a search thing called Domain something or other and My Search. We uninstalled them and he was back on.

 

Im still cant get on from home. just work

 

i can get on just fine with my home computer, but with the laptop sitting right next to me, wont let me log on at all ...

server support has been contacted so should hear something soon

 

Yeah, I have been unable to get on here for a month now. I am on a friends computer now. I have cleaned my cache, cleaned files, updated internet explorer and all. Still no ******* worky! So, I guess I will just continue to try, or Nags can contact me on the other forum to let me know when it works.

So apparently it was "spybot search and destroy" stopping my connection. It has configurations that block non rated sites. Anyways, seems to be fixed now!

 

Wow, it's crazy that people are having all these problems with only SL and it's turning out to NOT be the site.

Must be a bad piece of code somewhere thats triggering the site with Spybot and other spyware software.

 

Although, I have Spybot installed and no problems

 

No ****, I was ready to toss my computer. I could get on every site but this one. I have had adware and all, never had a problem. It has to be in a setting....
