Umm, well whoever you say you are, best of luck with your project. I had about the same response you have recieved here when I first posted and approached the Aussie riders of what I wanted to do.

Whether your a girl or not doesnt make a difference, the riders licences are on the line which potentially means their jobs too (if they require it for work), so you can see why they are a bit hesitant about submitting footage from the information you provided...

Everyone thought I was an undercover cop trying to break into the stunt circle to bust em all... very funny when I look back on it

Ahhh, well I dont have the credentials Mel does, so I couldnt really boast about much, lol... and I am a cop you idiot too (a long drive from Sydney to Toowoomba with no car stereo makes you do crazy things)!!

I say good luck to the girl... As long as she doesnt portray stuntriding in a bad light (which I think showing street racing will), good for her. But after reading Rob's reply (and he seems to know this girl)... well seems she might have some issues filming down in Melbourne??

Lady first of all you cant be that connected to the scene if you have no idea who the hell Matty Mingay is. The dude holds several world records for stunting, stunts at V8 supercar rounds, F1 grand prix and moto gp rounds in Aust as well as actually earns a living from being a PROFESSIONAL STUNT RIDER. As for working of films i believe he did the bike work for Mission Impossible 2. think the guy can cut it.

sounds to me like you are either here to bait people or trying to big note yourself.
Most of Australia and Tasmania's ( just for you Stooge) best stunt riders post up here cause it is one of the few places that only atracts people who do stunt, not just talk ****.

If you are genuine then it has been said you can't just rock up with a camera and expect people to let you film them stunt. Many of us know people that have gotten into a **** tin of trouble ( ie with the law) from careless people with cameras, so you have to expect people to be a bit mis-trusting. After all this is a open internet forum and there is no way to tell if someone is genuine.
