Got fiddy?
Re: Got fiddy?
Ended up just using the triple clamp and spaced the standard bars.
OK, I'm working on the wheelies. I leave my feet on the ground and lift the front from a standing start. I then started dragging my feet along behind me as I got a hang of throttle control. Did this for an hour a day for a week.
Now I do the same thing but I can get my feet up beside the pegs. I can't get them on the pegs cause I have to twist my torso to get my foot up and whenever I do this I drift off to one side...
I have now worn all the skin off my *** which isn't as much fun as it sounds.....
Any hints on getting better??????
Will practicing on this help wheelie a "real" bike????

I know Ned does, I think 000 does,
Good luck!!
I think its just a matter of practice and getting used to the balance and feeling of it all!

chuck, just keep practicing dude and it'll click. try a combination of 1st and 2nd gear and see which you prefer. 1st gear you have to do it from a very slow speed otherwise you'll run out of revs too soon. yank that front up high and be smooth on the throttle. you'll get a lot more side to side sway in first though. it takes a lot of body language to keep it straight. get your feet on the pegs for style points. scraggly legs just make a wheelie look untidy. in 2nd gear, roll with a little bit of throttle (so that the clutch is engaged), then brrraaaaaarrrrrrppppp and pull up the front. catch it with the rear brake when the front fender is near the horizon and only back off a little bit on the throttle. also try some 1st gear seat standers. they loop easy but don't hurt so much.
i'm working on no throttle one handers at the moment but it's like starting over again. either the front end drops too quick or i end up on the tail.
