Re: Bikefest April 16
1. I don't do **** for free and 2. You guys don't f@*kin know me so if you going to talk a whole lot of bullshit I'd appreciate it if you didn't drag me into it.
Sounds like Dave is just proud of what he is doing and he probably doesn't deserve you guys shutting him down because he's out there doin it.
At this stage of the stunt industries growth a little bit support might serve more constructive than all the bit@h'n.

Re: Bikefest April 16
No disrespect Cam, but another QLD based rider actually posted on an different forum naming names, stating that you guys were doing it for free. I personally never take the word of someone who I don't know all that well as gospel, but he's a well-known and respected rider, so you could understand why most people would believe it. Either way, Bikefest was a good event last year (I raced the Blade), so congrats to you guys for doing the show there. Just be weary that the burnout pad is as slippery as a mother ucker. Enjoy the show guys, if I wasn't gonna be interstate I'd come out and take some photos for you.
Re: Bikefest April 16
Thanks for the heads up on the burnout pad Boxer.
I have spent way too much money on this sport to do **** for free. I don't know who this rider is but I don't know any well respected riders in QLD except for Mingay and as a good friend I doubt he'd be talking **** about me.
So to whoever this rider is, get your facts right before you start shootin off your mouth.

With undercutting of shows always being a hot topic of ours, i tend to brush it off these days and not get too hot headed about it because as time goes on there is going to more and more stunt groups trying to get ahead whatever the cost.
Last month we had the Crusty show booked for $10,000 for 3 riders, only to find three weeks later Mr "Dangerous" Dave and his trusty sidekicks approached them and said they would do it for free!! once again the Promoter laughs all the way to the bank!!
This we can never prevent, but i can tell you that we get many big $$ jobs where we need up to 7 riders and these boys will not be on my invite list unless things change.
As for tips and areas for practise, since last couple of days of hearing all this feed back i have made few calls and contacts regarding setting up area for practise and teaching so keep posted.
Thanks boys.

I don't want to get involved in none of this ****, but just thought ya'll should know bout the stuff being said and where the drama is coming from.
Good luck with all the shows and stuff and i hope to see you guys perform some time soon

Re: Bikefest April 16
wel well..looks like iam in trouble with everyone at the moment..guess i better fill in the blanks for some of you!!! BIKEFEST ....I rode at last years bikefest thats why ive been asked back again this year!! as for payment i got paid last year and iam getting paid this year..Most of you know i have M.S and i ride and promote awarness for the M.S society in which i have organised a raffle for the winner to ride in the Jack Daniels Burnout car, My shows to date i have done i will tell you if you read on... Bikefest last year got paid...Fast Fours Jamboree last year still owed $600 Moto Freestyle had a lot of fun cant ride for **** but i wouldn't of missed it for the world..got paid and proceeds from ticket sales to M.S Society.A trip to Malaysia for TQX with Rob Jones,Cameron Ambridge,Matt Higgins, and Lukey Luke yes i got paid with all bike transport inc..Kids raceday with Cunningstunts no payment as it was a donation day by everyone inc big name racing drivers such as Craig Lownes,Steven Richards a day out at the track for sick children so of course you will do it for free. Well with BikeFest i didnt cut anyone out of anything as i was the only person asked to do it..As i spoke with the organiser and asked him if anyone else applied to do stunts, the answer was NO!! I told him about how i was getting slagged on the internet and he said there all full of ****.Okay the it seems you are mixed with Bike fest and Crusty Demons..OKAY we got this far now with Crusty I spoke to Chris Foreman at Scootoz and he wanted me to organise Darius to ride as i told him i had designed a bike for him to ride when he comes to Australia..At this stage i didnt know anyone else in OZ was riding at the show except for Alan Morrison and a couple of guys from Melbourne,I asked if i could ride seeing i was dragging the bike to QLD and do my bit for M.S....
hope that clears it up...
Thanks for reading this article
I would like to think my fellow stunters are still on side as i have no grapes with anyone..Iam just riding my bike and living life..
