Re: Quick Q? for Stooge!

I've got it down standing, on dirties, but really want to learn to do it sitting down on the Gixxer!!!

Did you blokes have any trouble progressing from stand-up 12s to sit-down 12s or was it a case of rear brake is rear brake????

Haven't got a bar or gears on tha Gixxer so still workin up the ***** to have a real go!!!

Any help appreciated,

Hendo

Personally I never really liked 12' sit downs. I also think stand ups look better anyway from a viewers perspective. As for you doing this without at least a bar, good luck man. I have done them without a cage, but always with a bar.

Mate, I would love to rock sit down 12's, personally I think they look awesome and not many blokes seem to be able to do them.

Re: Quick Q? for Stooge!

Thanks for the tips and info fellas

I'm just workin on the stand-ups at the moment cause i'm a bit more comfortable with them (i'll go for sit-downs once i get stand-ups sorted or get a bar-whichever comes first)

Although, i do like the way you can gauge your wheelie height off your view of the bike with sit downs. As in, power wheelies your looking above the visor, balannce point about at the gauges and i've "heard" at 12 you're looking at the gas cap. I like the way you can gauge how close you are to scrapin other than once you hear the noise!!!
