I was thinking if it was for 2 stroke and it didnt have a lever override (ive seen the overide things) you really couldnt clutch it to teh powerband, unless tehres a false neutrul between shifts.

Pastrana has been using a DR-Z450 lately for FMX. he's done a couple shows on it and he did some pretty sick tricks and huge whips. I think the future of all motocross is in 4 strokes.

A slipper clutch keeps the rear tire from locking up/ chattering when you really use the engine breaking like when shifting from 4th to 2nd to set up a turn in supermoto. It DOES NOT eliminate engine braking.

Since all the riders are switching to 4 strokes for the step up high jump contests, I don't see why they wouldn't work for FMX if you know how to ride it.

Clutch overide lever? You mean the hot start lever?
