me personally, this is how i set up my bikes for freestyle, bars and triple clamps (pro taper or tag....oversized), pipe&silencer (any brand is good), suspension set with stiffer springs, oversized foot pegs, skid plate, cut seat, cut fenders

So Renthal bars arent really taht good compared. i was pricing out and TAG bars were twice as much as renthals? it hought renthals were king ****, lol!

but that is a relatively easy set up for freestyle. not much involved, i guess once the bike is in hand its all good fromthere, thanks for the help

I have the tag fat bars and they are awesome. I've had some narly wrecks with em but haven't bent them yet.

Have you hace much experience with 2-stroke dirt bikes?

Keep the air filter clean. Clean it like every 3 rides or so unless it's really dusty. Change the gear box oil about every six rides. And when you choose your oil to mix with your gas pick one and stick with it. I've heard of problems where different oils don't mix well with others. Other then that get out there and have fun. i have an 01' 250 also. they are a blast fast as $#*!.

If it your first bike you may have benifited from learning on a 125. O well. Just ride it in the powerband, lots of people I know dont do that and its funny to watch them ride

Yea, anything crossbarless and over 60$ seams good to me. I would also sudgest the new renthral fat bar. You will wan to stiffen up suspension.
