Question CR250R or CRF450R?

What do you all perfer, CR250R or CRF450R? I'm thinking about the CR250R right now. I will use it for the sand pits and trails.

4 strokes for racing 2 strokes for jumping. 2 strokes are lighter and all and have less engine braking (or none at all). 4 strokes are mainly race bikes and every freestyler knows that if u race u get a 450. Metz races a 450 for supermoto. 4 strokes have more low end torque but if u gonna jump get a 2 stroke. OR if u mechanicaly challengenged get a 4 stroke because ur not gonna be changing tp ends month. And 1 more sugestion, Get a 125 if ur new to dirtbikes. A 125 puts out bout 32 hp and the tire. WIll a xr400 (same motor in ur quad, but maybe urs is beefed up) puts out 26 both stock. And just to add, heres a 4 stroke story. BAck when yamaha came out with the 400 and 426 free stylers tried em out. Then mad mike (or thats who i was told it happened to) had his 4 stroke stall in air and he broke his neck. Im not sure if its true or not.

No no no!
You CAN freestyle fourstrokes! The news ones (crf's and yzf's) are also lighter than cr250's...if I'm correct. Give me a few minutes and I will check their sites..

noThere nbot lighter, they are weight regulations on mx bike, a 125 has to weigh 193 lbs and a 250 216lbs. Thats with empty tank but radiators can be full. The reasoning? Back in the day suzki had 150 lbs 250s and 200lbs 500s, and all the euro manufacturars were getting blown by, then suzuki filled frames with some lead to meet weight regulatiopns and that got banned. And a crf450 weighs 222 lbs, cr250 weighs 216 lbs, crf250 weigh 207lbs and a cr125 weighs 192 lbs. SO 4s weigh more and for every 4 stroke fmxer there atleast 200 2 stroke fmxers

Im not sure on yz and yzfs, but i know a yzf450 is 222lbs and a 250f is like 208lbs or somtin, i think the 125 weighs bout 193lbs ( Take about at max 2 lbs usually to make it correct) and a 250 is about 216 (same as the 125 to fix). Now i know a 2002 kawa 125 is 191.8 lbs cause im getting a 2002 brand new from dealer never sold or started for 3500, and not chargin freight cause they want it gone.
