hey wat up i got a 1998 yz 250 and i would like to know if it is supoese to move when in gear but clutch in like when im transporting. while engine running its ok but when its off it wount move freely unles i put in neutral.thankx

 

so your sayin you load you bike in the truck / trailer what ever, and put it in gear(bike is off) and the clutch is out meaning you arent touching it and the bike moves freely. is that what you are getting at?

 

he means its in gear and his clutch is in but it wont move even though the clutch is in. My 125 is like that but the 75 or 100 dont have that problem. I dont really understand it either, but eh if it works its ok with me.

 

xidum got it its realy anoying thanks for the replys it works when on but sometimes it stalls in first when i come to a stop even tho it i have the clutch in. ur right my friends xr100 moves freely when clutch is pulled in.

 

Must be a clutch setup so it can take the power of a 30 hp bike like my 125 , not 5 or 6 hp my trail bike. But that still doesnt explain why it wroks when the bike on but doesnt when its off.
