2 Stroke or 4?
Re: 2 Stroke or 4?
4-banger all the way. I've ridden both 2 smokes and thumpers and can say that even though 4-strokes are relatively more expensive, you get what you pay for. And what you're paying for is reliability, reduced exhaust-note, smooth power, and increased resale value.
I think Honda stopped producing the 2-stroke this year? Those bikes are a way of the past.

Re: 2 Stroke or 4?
you should get a two stroke the biggest reason is because all of the pro FMXers ride two strokes so there must be something about them that are better than four strokes
Re: 2 Stroke or 4?
I really don't want to sound like a jerk but you don't just wake up one morning and say I want to do fmx. It comes down to which bike works for you the best and whats in your budget. I own a 2 stroke 250 and it is what I prefer. But my Suzuki team bikes are 4 strokes. But I don't do true freestyle tricks when I ride the 4 strokes. I have seen people do all the tricks on both kinds. One thing though. A fmx bike is set up way different then a "stunter" bike.
