Re: rm125 powerband problems
What powerband do you have? I bet it's the green one which is for trail riding. Swap it out with the red one and you will be set.
Re: rm125 powerband problems
u guys are all a$$holes! LOL
Get a shop manual, 2-strokes are easy to work on. it might just need to be freshened up, new rings, clean powervalve, etc...
get on a dirtbike site and post up, you'll get a lot of help.

Re: rm125 powerband problems
i can't believe no one even mentioned that he could change the narps on that bike ..
it cuts down on the cylinder reversion and makes the power band feel like a kick in the back
after you rebuild the top end you would be crazy not to change the narps ,and you should get the hardened ones i think they are titanium there a bit pricey but last forever compared to the stock ones

I wish brutha! Saving my time off so i can hit stuff in the spring! Maybe this summer or fall i can make a trip down!
I'm jealous of you guys right now though, 17 degrees this morning... rode the past two weekends though.
Thanks for the offer, ill keep it in mind, lemme know if you want to come up here at all this summer, plenty of room at my place!

While he's at it he might as well get titanium muffler bearings, silicone blinker fluid (yes on a dirtbike) and hard wire up a new flux capicitor...
Re: rm125 powerband problems

If i had the time i would appreciate that call... honsetly i would feel way too bad for him and end up helping him for hours and not getting any of my stuff done...
Seriously though... he needs a clear annodized oblong rotator splinf... u know, for the valve train...........
