Pictures, pictures, pictures......

Enough begging already. I know all of you care so much about what I do with my time out here in God's country, so I figured I would post some pics.

First... the long awaited pics of my new toy... the 05' Polaris Sportsman 700EFI Twin. This thing is a beast and I love it. It will ralley like a sport quad in 2HI and crawl like a jeep in 4LOW. Big pimpin!

Re: Pictures, pictures, pictures......

Got a chance to take the new machine camping with some friends over the weekend. Found some incredible terrain as you can see in the pics above. We got some rain during our last night of camping which mad the dessert into a big mud pit. Good times.

The lake shot is the first place we camped and the stone fireplace is the second night. And that's my friend Jen with her puppy.

Here's some random shots from this season's snowboarding adventures. My friend Dave and I standing at 13,000+ feet on the ten mile range in Breckenridge. Only a short 45min hike from the top of the lift allows you to access unmarked powder above treeline. Here's a shot of me dropping into one of the bigger bowls at Breck. You can see the town 4,000 feet below in the valley. And then a couple of me Jenica shot while cruisin groomers.

The snowboarding pic was taken at Breckenridge, Colorado. And the Sportsman... well... if you dunno... I'll line it up against your KFX400. That's how much I'm impressed with this machine. I honestly think it would hold it's own against my 440EX.

I really like those new Polaris quads. We dropped Bryan's sled off for service last month or so and I was checking them out...Can't wait to see some shots of it with only 2 wheels touching....

Sorry bud... but I'm not sure if that will ever happen. Not interested in stunting this quad. Not what I bought it for. I still got the EX for that stuff.

Bryan... I was cutting my hair, shaved a mohawk, took a pic, and shaved the rest. No, I didn't walk outta the house looking like that.

Actually it's a 700. Pretty much the same motor they run in the quad I bought. However as you can see it's got a steel reinforced frame making it much heavier than the sportsmans and comes with run-flat tires, larger gas tank, tow hooks and all the other goodies. Too much of a tank for me personally.

Why would you ever want or need a quad like that? It's stupid. If your going that big why dont you just go and get a truck. If you want something for offroading, that's why Ford or Dodge or whoever is out there. You get quads for stunting. At least stunt that ****. Whatever it's your money but i see it as a waste. Happy ridin there killer.

Not sure if you're referring to the MV quad we were talking about or the Sportsman I just purchased last month. Either way, if you take a look at my profile, you'll see that I still own a stunt quad... my 440EX. This new utility quad if for camping and recreation riding... not stunting. Different machines have different purposes.... or am I supposed to wheelie everything I own just to impress you?

You couldn't impress me with that big *** military vehicle quad if you taught your dog to ride a wheelie backwards on it. Like i said if you need a utility vehicle for camping and recreation (???), get a damn truck. Good **** you still got that 440 EX. And honda didn't make a 440, unless you bored that out to the next size. Which i'm guessing that you did, and i'm likin that.

And i'm not tellin you that your big *** utility vehicle is a waste of money to you, it just is to me. And the only camping and recreation that i do is havin a party at the pits my friend, which is where you would still need a sport quad... unless you are haulin that keg there haha.

Those slopes look sweet man. Glad to see you back on your feet. Can't wait to see 65MPH combos on the EFI 7hundo. 929 pics soon, she's on the surgery table right now.

That MV quad was ordered specifically for the military. They wanted something you could drop 10ft from a helicopter and not break it. So Polaris decided to put it on the market for everyone to purchase. I agree with you on that one... waste of money. However, my Sportsman isn't to me.... it's cheaper than a truck, can haul just as much(using a trailer), and will go more places. Plus, I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Seeing the backcountry is sometimes only accessable by dirtbike or quad.... period. I'd like to see a truck go between some of the trees I ride. And you would be correct about my Honda... it's been bored out to a 440 with many other hop-ups. Although I've been to many keggers... I find camping up here in Colorado to be much more relaxing these days. Guess I'm getting older, but that's just my

-Drew

BTW... I own a 4x4 truck that I do take off roading. There's no such thing as too many toys.

Re: Pictures, pictures, pictures......

Haha i'm likin that, can't have too many toys. Yea that MV is stupid as hell if you ask me. Why the hell do they need something like that if they have those hum-vee's. They just have the money to throw around so they do, ********. The quads are cheaper than a truck and can fit in some spaces that trucks cant but hey, theres always ways around trees and rocks. Good **** if you live in the mountains but around where i am, it's all about stuntin and ridin hard.

Yeah... my family used to have a beach house on LBI. Sold it when I was 18... just when it would have started getting fun... bastards. I hear there's a ton of sick riding through Jersey though... lots of sandy terrain. Do you off-road or just throw down on asphault?
