If you take penguin school do you have to do the 3 lap race that weekend to get your license or can you run the race later on....Cause I'll run my gixxer though the school but i don't have a race bike yet.... that and hopefully i can fit my fat *** back into my leathers i bought last year I've worn them like 5 times and I'm thinking i should have bought the next size up....

ya, what james said....putt around the three lap rookie race and then you can do one race anytime that season to get your license...

each weekend at the track:
$25 to get into the track
$50 a race...times five
$10 a gallon...times a lot
$300 a set of tires time two
$40 food.

times this all by 8 Loudon events and 8 FUSA events (which cost more) plus travel and you see why i need sponsors!!

BUT.....
racing and having fun: PRICELESS for sure....

i am telling you, it is addicting...dont say you werent warned!!!

bike doesnt have to be wired for the rookie race, and you MAY even be able to get away with not doing it for one race if you do it that same weekend....but anything after that it has to be wired. safety wiring a bike is not that hard if you know what you are doing...if anyone wants to know how, just ask.
