Well, I am going to be completely honest with you... I haven't received good feedback. I don't think this was ever fully intended to be as organized as people perceived it to be. All I wanted to do was bring people together and create a community here in New England.... a imaginary "partnership" amongst teams. I think most assumed it was going to be an organization, group, or team specifically designed for a specific reason.

I've spoken to a few teams and most of them seem to think it's just a crazy idea. Plus, because it is originally my idea and because I brought it up on here, most of them seemed to think I would handle it. Some of the exact quotes I received were, "YOUR going to have your hands full with that project" and "I don't think something like that can happen here" and "Who will organize it?" Hey, I never intended to run anything... I never intended ANYONE to run ANYTHING. I basically had some ideas and wanted to share them everyone. I wanted it to be more of a mentality adjustment meeting. I wanted people to see / view things different within this community. We're growing every year and it's only getting bigger. I shared these ideas and noticed some people embracing them and said to myself, "Self, hey maybe, JUST MAYBE, something can derive from this". So I figured I'd give it a shot.... but typically, most teams have their issues. Many teams had issues about too many riders being at shows. Some teams had quarrels about OTHER teams not participating or believing enough in the program to properly execute their portion of the deal. Some teams even had quarrels about other teams seeing their newest, latest, and greatest tricks and stealing them.

One of the MAIN reasons I decided to chase this idea was so that teams could grow together. After further discussing the idea, I'm not so sure everyone feels the same. Many of the people within this industry want the growth but aren't willing to give up certain aspects within to have it. I think they either don't fully understand my idea and or understand the industry. Many teams are still chasing something... but most aren't sure what that something is. Some teams feel that something is respect. Some teams feel that something is being the best. Some teams feel that something is stardom or popularity. Well, I think C6 is chasing friendship, unity, and stunt community growth.

But, yet again I received a "reality check" after my round of phone calls. I guess I'm just not so sure everyone feels the same and I wonder if this would be a waste of energy. The ball is in everyone's court but do we want to play as a team or friendly opponents? I think that is what it comes down to.

What does everyone think?

Lata,
Brian

Re: New England Freestyle Team / Rider Meeting

Yeah, I hear you man. It would be hella work to sort all that **** out. I think your onto something for sure though. It doesn't need to be organized. Every stunt crew has parties or cook outs or sessions on the weekend. It would be dope to get all the north east stunters together on the weekends and just kill it. C6, DTE, Boston Stunters, IMR, Taildraggerz, NHRR, Reckless meths, Real Ryderz, Conn Men, Xclusive, Vertical Outlaws, Northern Insanity and whoever else is out there. For starters I heard something about a jam down in CT this weekend at Thompson speedway or some thing. Conn Men, you know any thing about that? Lets make it happen. Plus there are mad events going on for the next few weeks including bike week, whats the deal for that?

Re: New England Freestyle Team / Rider Meeting

Here's an idea. July 17, V.O. boys have a show at oxford. Im riding up there. I would like to see as many fellow stunters with me as possible. Im coming from Lewiston. Visit www.verticaloutlaws.com for the details. email me if your down for the ride. Kraven720@yahoo.com or Kraventhakooch@wmconnect.com. Also Im thinking Everybody should get together July 24. We will all ride to the last New England state. Is that Connecticut? Starting in Augusta, Maine. Where we ride to is up to you guys. Hows this sound. Date isn't finalized because I don't know everybodies schedule but let me know. email me or pm me. How's this sound to you guys (and girls)?
