You realize that is illegal

hehehe. Actually, I think the location of the plug is different on all bikes. Mine is right below the tank on the right side (rear brake). I just disconnected it and my tach still works. It's mint. I've had 13K on my bike for a year

hey, were does the speed get read on the bike? like, on the front or rear wheel, or on the tranny like on cars?? I was wondering, because if your rolling wheelies or stoppies, is the speed correct??

I am pretty sure it is located just behind the front sprocket.... so it measure's back tire speed. If you change your sprockets it changes everything though.

I'll have to look on the right. My old FZR had a wire going to the front wheel. That one was easy as pie. I looked in the same place on this bike and there's nothing at all. Things have changed. How will I know if it's the right one? I don't want to just go disconnecting electronics.
