Can anyone do a track day at Loudon??
Just curious what the process is that you have to go through in order to participate in a track day at loudon. Special insurance, race license, safety wire, coolant change???
Thanks

naults out of manchester, nh will have at least one track day at loudon, not sure of the dates, but it costs a couple hundred, includes food, instructionl, and open track time...best money you can spend...no safety wire, no race license, just leathers, helmet and a bike with duct tape over all glass like headlights, mirrors, blinkers...coolant change is recommended but not necessary...
stay tuned!

Cool thanks for the info. Just so that I can clear something up with a friend at work, does Louden hold their own track days, or do you have to affiliate with a group that is doing one? Do they always require sometype of instruction before letting you on the track?
Thanks

like jay said, different organizations rent it...the basic rules are the same, but different org's allow different things.
all the trackdays will play follow the leader in the morning with expert roadracers leading the way and showing you the fast line...the pace will increase andyou will be divided into 2 classes....after lunch and a stuntshow and some hooliganism by the local instructors, an open practice session will be available for the afternoon session. you can ride by yourself, with a group, or have an instructor follow you...just no open racing.
at the naults track day last year i managed to do coasters and endos down the front straight and at every other straightaway ont he track, as well as do endos backwards down the front straight, and i managed to make the hot pit my own personal race track!!
it is fun and well worth the loot, i highly recommend it!

Is the a class limitation. Can I bring my 12R? I am definately down for that. Please give a shout when its coming around will ya please guy? I am interested as to how a big guy on big bike can do around a track. Probably horrible but hell I think it would be alot of fun just the same. Plus Im sure I will learn alot from the pros!
